About Ester

Esther has three children and seven grandchildren. She retired in 2013 as a captain in the U.S. Navy. She has a passion for travel, even if it’s with the help of virtual reality.

Esther’s advice for others with MBC is to consider finding an oncologist that specializes in breast cancer and to not be afraid to get a second opinion.

For my kids, they’ve never known Mom or remember Mom without having cancer.
